Hello out there, wood-burning enthusiasts. I don't know about you, but I have been spending my free moments these last few days outside swinging the sledge hammer to split up wood so I can feed my Wall of Fire fireplace grate this winter. Ironically I'm too lazy to trailer the log splitter over here so I'm splitting all this wood by hand. It's not too bad, only need about two cords.

I will tell you, when swinging that sledge on a warm Fall day, it reminds me of what the old timers say about firewood; it warms you twice.
