The Grate Wall of Fire system is excellent. Thank you! The instructions received with the Grate itself reminded me of growing up in Springfield, MA in a victorian 2-family with a huge coal boiler in the basement. That required heating up the interior grates before the coal would correctly burn. Your Grate Wall system is much the same. Care and some patience has to be given to carefully start the fire and heat up the fireback. Once done, this is an efficient burning system that burns much less wood than my old grate and more than doubles the sustained direct heat output. Ash buns way down and banks well overnight. Another huge milestone for Grate Wall of Fire llc.

Grate Wall of Fire has achieved another amazing milestone. As of early April 2011, we are proud to say that we have had sales in all 50 states! Even though that we have shipped many units to Canada and Europe over the years, it gives us greater pride to know that we have had sales in every corner of the United States.
We would like to say thanks to all of our customers for making us a national success story.

I had a smokey inefficient fireplace which for years I controlled with a glass fireplace door,  a year ago the door shattered and I was considering an insert at great cost.  Given the cost and labor involved in installing an insert I procrastinated and shopped; the tax credit started to make it look worthwhile but still I waited hoping to find a better option.  Two months back I found the Grate Wall of Fire.  I discussed it with my wife and we were both skeptical that it could be as good as the ads.  After a week of wavering I thought for the cost worst case if it did not work I would be out the shipping cost to return it.  I measured my fireplace, ordered the correct size unit and a fire back and just three days later I "installed" my grate wall of fire.  It took all of five minutes mostly to get the old grate out of the way and throw out my old glass door.  My first fire looked and worked just like the ads, my second fire the same and so on and so on.  Now we have fires about every other day as opposed to three or four times a winter with our glass doors.  I just lit a nice fire for the evening (the third for the Thanksgiving weekend) and am hearing it crackle nicely in the background.  Please feel free to print my testimonial (don't give out my phone number but if anyone wants to send me an email I will gladly tell them what a great made in the USA product this is.  So simple I wish I had invented it myself.  Thanks for giving me my fireplace back!! Biggest month ever!

October 2010 is officially our busiest month on record here at Grate Wall of Fire! Sales have increased 45% for the month of October compared to last year's numbers. This trend has been building since early in the year; and here we are coming into November, so far sales are up a staggering 110% for the month! These are simply amazing figures. It seems people just can't get enough of our grates!

Grate Wall of Fire increases production for the cold weather ahead

A surge of cold weather here in the Northeast has put Grate Wall of Fire into high gear. Fireplace grate production has reached near-peak levels not seen since last December. Demand for our grates have exploded now that word of this amazing product has spread across the country. We have substantially increased our internet and television advertising budgets for this year. Several large equipment purchases and tooling upgrades this Summer were well worth the investment to increase production for this season. I just received my fireplace grate, thought I should give it a try and see if thing really makes a difference.  I was pretty skeptical, but figured I would give it a try instead of spending alot more money on an insert or new doors that I don't like.  I didn't light a fire very much because all it did was make the house smokey, didn't provide any heat, ao it was just for ambience at best.  I gotta tell you, this thing ROCKS!  I am totally impressed!  Not only do I have zero smoke in the house, the heat is poring through the fireplace vents like it never has before.  I turned off the furnace just to see, and it is maintaining 72 degrees in the house after being lit for 2 hours.  I'm going to order another one tomorrow for my basement fireplace!
